On my previous post it says you have phantom pwer if you want to move into a dynamic microphone. You have a dynamic microphone now - COndenser microphones (or the microphones you usually find in professional recording studios)are what usually require phantom power.

Also, to all of you out there. More than likely your recordings will improve if you record them at 24 bit, then process and convert to 16 bit. If you don't knowwhat this means, you really should learn it.
