Yeah, I want to do one on some things I've just learned about how bit depth = signal to noise ratio. I find that interesting. Still trying to get the"32 bit float" thing though.

A podcast. I wouldn't know where to start and it seems like it would be a lot of work for no monetary return.

It isn't necessarily that much work. Essentially what you have been doing here can be done as a Podcast. WordPress makes it super easy to create a blog to podcast with. WordPress has an easy to manage backend that makes it super simple to add new episodes.

I could help you out with that if you wanted to try the podcast idea. I actually set up my digital production site around Wordpress, as well as created chrisheier.com for just throwing up stuff with my voice. Also have a spare credit with my hosting service if you want a domain name for it. Won't cost me anything, and got tons of bandwidth to spare if you are interested.

OK everyone (all my fans... LOL) just started Season 3 of VO Tips at a new thread. I wouldn't do this except for the positive comments of all the fine folks who apreciated the peripatetic ramblings of a radio man with a technical bent not lost too much on new technology. Thanks for your kind words. I always wanted to be a teacher. (After I was an award winning VO talent of course.)
