Man, sorry to hear that. I'm sure the place ya got it from will take care of you though. I've heard it was a sweet unit also, let us know when the new one get's hooked up.

Looks like what Tom bought was a returned unit which had not successfully been therough the refurbished process and was sold as a new Traveler... thanks MOTU - great work.

Although I love my 828MKII, I use it for an entirely different recording set-up than voicovers. I also provide services for film and video sweetening, music recording, and hi-def video production; so the 828 serves me well. For voicovers, the Traveler is w-a-a-a-a-a-y too much technology.
(This is my opinion only, don't kill the messenger...).

Lol Frank.....Yes....I know it's waaaaaaaaay too much technology! You told me that about 10 times on the phone! Thanks so much for all your help in trouble shooting last night. I know you were trying to relax and take a break when I intruded with this problem. Whatta guy!
