Hello!
I'm Lucho Molina (fortunately not related to Freddie ), one of Voice123’s developers. We had an idea we want to share with the community before implementing it, we wanted to gather some of your valuable opinions.
The idea is to release an online radio station for the voice over community. In this "Voice123 radio" you will be able to listen to the best music along with the best talent demos, info about the projects posted in Voice123 and generals about the industry.
What do you guys think? |

Hi Lucho,
I can't speak for everyone, but I like the idea. Sounds like an interesting concept for this site. _________________ Cheers,

Hello Lucho,
I like it - as long as I'm in the "best talent demo" category
Seriously, interesting idea...
Who's the target audience?
VA's? Seekers? General Public?

Just as long as: (1) I don't have to pay for some "Platinum Premium Upgrade Edition" of V123 to enjoy that service and (2) my membership fee to V123 (and everyone else's) will NOT increase across the board for the service. In other words, if it's for free..it's for me.. |

Mainly talents and voice seekers, but music is universal, so everyone's invited
Thanks for your replies! |

We are aware of that, and we have that almost under control... There's still some research to do before the implementation to be see if it's doable, and that could obviously be a reason to abort the mission.

We'll need money to pay Mr. RIAA, so we will be possibly charging talents and/or voice seekers for advertising their services or projects in the station, not for only listening. As a talent, think of it as another way to know about projects to audition, and to enjoy good music!
BTW, any suggestions on music genres?
Thank you! |

Fun? Sure. But would there really be enough listenership to warrant the effort? I'm guessing not. |

Now we're talking!
What about letting listeners rate demos and project with a thumb-up/thumb-down system?
Cheers. |
