Well, just received mine...

I have auditioned 128 times and deleted nearly as many

2 rated at 100
4 rated at 75
3 rated 50
1 rated at 1

So its not as bad as I thought!! When I started out I did answer some ridiculous leads, and many that were not suited for me.

Danke shoen, Scott 10 von 10

I agree that none of us need to be overly concerned about this. Here's how I look at it: Let's say a client is in the mood for McDonald's fries but they're offered Burger King instead. It's not that there's anything WRONG with Burger King fries, it's just that they're in the mood for McDonalds.

I can feel my arteries slamming shut even as we speak.

The thing that upsets me most about MY ratings is that none, NONE of the people who actually hired me gave me a rating. Some of whom have gone on to hire me for hundreds and (in a couple of cases) thousands of dollars worth of work. And none of the people who called me back or said I was on their short list gave me a rating.

If I'm being graded on an average, how is that fair or accurate if only the opinions of people who rejected me for their project count?

Amy, I agree, that's crazy.

How did you find out the specifics of your ratings, though? I only received the numbers, which tells me squat. (By the way, and off the subject---I LOVED your take on the "I like to kill things" demo! Fabulous job!)

Applause

Thanks Cira!

The way I figured out who was who is that I include the V123 tracking number when I name my audition files: catfood-Amy_Snively-LTK9102596053X.MP3

So I just did some simple searching on my computer.

Todd: I don't have any work for you today, but I'll give you a 100 'coz I like the look on your face in your avatar.

Can i post a job then give everyone who replies a "1"???

That ought to be worth the $35 I have in the budget for a 400 page audio book.

I'm giving Amy a 100 because she records topless.

I'm giving Todd a 100 because he's buying my first round in Vegas!

Free booze and breasts....doesn't get any better than that....now that's life! hahahahaha
