Can someone please explain how exactly the Demo of the Day forum works? I see that there are lots of spots posted, and there are lots of references to "the other site". Granted, I didnt read every post in the 14 pages, but I did read through the first and the last, but can someone tell me the gist of how exactly it works?? Thanks in advance!!!!! I wanna do everything I can to take full advantage of what this site and these forums have to offer!

Oh ok, I get it now, for some reason I was thinking that just one demo of the day was selected for the entire site, then it was critiqued. Now it makes sense! Thanks so much for the help.

Now that I know how it works, I was wondering how you are getting scripts to read. I know a lot of people mention they are coming from "The Other Site", but do you have to be a member there to see them? I would love to participate in some of the other Demo's that people are doing, but from what Ive heard about "The Other Site" I dont really even have a lot of interest in going there. Maybe Voice123 could put up sample scripts, then we could use those on the forums here for the Demo of the Day. I dont wanna go elsewhere for material to use, I would like to get it from right here. Am I missing something that I should know here??? You folks are all so awesome, thanks for putting up with all of my "New Guy" questions.
Thanks again! |

It sounds like you're not a "premium level member?" If you haven't paid at the premium level, then you don't get offers to read scripts from clients via email. Are you a premium member?
Also, you can practice on sample scripts on the resource pages on this website. (I don't know much about the other site either) Good Luck....

| Well, I'm talking specifically about scripts that people are reading in the Demo of the Day thread in the forums, I'm asking where they are getting those scripts from. I wanna participate in the Demo of the Day, but I dont necessarily see where they are finding those scripts that are mentioned there. |

The demo's that are being posted in the Demo of the Day thread are actual auditions that V123 members have submitted. 99% of them are ones that we received in our email boxes from V123--very, very rarely from elsewhere. Premium members get notified of leads periodically, often several per day. Those leads have scripts. That's where they come from. You need to become a premium member to receive them. |

| Ok, I see, well that makes sense. Thanks for the help on that. Hopefully in the next few months I can get the money together to become a premium member. I would really love to, I'm just in a precarius place right now with the finances. Again, though, thanks for the help! |

Hey Darell,
If you want some feedback on your demos feel free to post them on the voice over Idol section on the forum.
And if you are looking for scripts, type the word "script" on the search field on Voice123´s Resource center, that should give you some to practice.
Hope that helps. |

I am a premium member and perhaps I am having a bad techno moment, but can someone tell me how to actually listen to the demos people are posting?
Thanks to all!
