As I struggle to try to finish up my second c.d. of original music to be released on cdbaby.com and iTunes, tonight I sat down after more than a month of being uninspired and idle and just started messing around. Here's what I have so far and I'm kinda likin' where it's heading. Mind you, this is a ROUGH, UNFINISHED mix/unfinished song. I'm not sure where it will go from here. I have no EQ, no stereo imaging, no nuthin' applied to the tracks yet. This is bare bones, folks.
Oh yeah, you can sample my other trax at: www.soloeclypse.com

I should receive compensation for all the pain you give me about all the pain my avatars are giving you, Lynne!
I'd think you'd find this one quite soothing and hypnotic! By the way, I create all my avatars myself in Photoshop; just playing around when I get bored.
Oh, and thanks for the compliment on the song. It's a Lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng way from being finished though. I'll post it again when it's done.

| Just messing with you, actually it was only the one avatar...but thought I might use it as an excuse to wangle a freebee. Guess you looked right through that idea!

Real nice groove, Anthony!
And Scott: I whipped over to your site to monitor the tracks on the already-published album and the new tracks, as well.
It came to mind there are people who are producing meditative/hypnotic and relaxation audios who could use your looped tracks as beds.
Might be something in their areas for you....

Anthony,
Sounds like we ought to collaborate, bro'! Suspect the difference is you're obviously an accomplished keyboardist whereas I am not. I'm a guitarist who is still experimenting with the keyboards. I'm getting ready to add some acoustic guitar licks to the piece I posted above. Let's each put our finished product up when it's done.
I really like yours, though, Anthony. Mellow jazz is one of my two or three favorite music genres, along with ambient, techno and classic rock.

I gotta say we've got some great musical talent on this board. Both of you--nice job! Scott, I checked out your site too--nice, soothing and dreamy music!
Anothony, that was a cool, laid-back groove--something I'd like to play around the house. I really liked how you brought the drum track in--it wasn't the typical, jarring downbeat...very nice!
Cheers,
Cameron

Scott & Anthony (and anybody else who might have an interest)
I found this on another site --- www.kunaki.com
You use their proprietary software (PC only right now) to create your project, it uploads your content, labels, case inserts etc. (disc's are direct printed, not stick on labels) they are boxed, labeled, UPC code(if desired) shrink wrapped. Once you have your project uploaded you can order whatever number of copies you want for $1.60 each (NO MINIMUM). They do add a $3 handling charge per order. You can also set up a sales page(pretty basic), where they handle everything, and send you a check for each sale, with $1.60 deducted once a month.
Scott - your avatar has finally caused me to stroke out.

Thanks, Todd! I've been looking for the best option to reproduce my cds and definitely prefer laser-printed labels vs. stick-ons. That's not a bad price considering. Usually you're looking at a MINIMUM order of about 500 cds at around $700 just to get started.

HI Guys,
Lisa: Myself and Scott have been doing music for awhile so we both have several instruments we either master or are learning. I am a Bass Guitarist that happens to own of course My proud Schecter Bass, Fender Guitar, Alto Saxophone, Horn , Keyboards(Fantom Workstation and Maudio 88 key weighted Controller) and of course my 6ft Kawai Grand Piano.
Ronald: Thanks for the Compliment Bro!
Cameron: Yes I tried to keep it laid back with Smooth Jazz , R&B, sometimes classical feel . I can also bring in some Alternative at times and believe it or not i've also wrote a piece or two of country for an aspiring artist.
Allen: Thanks for the Compliment that you gave me and Scott. I think we both love music in a very inspiring way.
Todd: Always good info from you brother. Anyway to save a dime to help get your product out there
Scott: Absolutely!! We can collaborate because i believe we have something there in the feel of our music that i think people like to listen to. i believe we have a style that can capture the ear and keep the ear . SO someday down the line here lets get together and talk about a theme for a song we can both do together . Lets give it a name so that we can feed from the meaning of that name , which will inspire us to write the music more appropiately!
Thanks
Tony
