Ah... classic rock. When I heard the first few beats I thought it was going to break into "Take Me to the River."
Anyway... you guys have lots of talent. That is good stuff.

Man, you're right, Colin! I didn't realize that at first. That is, of course, a drum loop I downloaded to set my tunes to.

Scott and Anthony,
I'm so impressed! Great sound on both of those tracks. I have XM radio in my car, and my musical tastes are all over the board, so I listen to a variety of genres. Scott's tune sounds like it could be on XM Chill or Sound Visions (laid back, new age) and Anthony's is straight from Watercolors (smooth jazz). I'm a keyboardist, so I enjoyed reading about your gear, Anthony. How do you like the M-Audio controller? I've been ogling one for some time now, but I wasn't sure if the keys were hammer action or more like synth keys.
Anyway, I really like both of the tracks, guys. Can't wait to hear more!

Thanks, Alan. I have XM too, and XM Chill and Audio Visions are two of my favorite channels. Wish I could find out how to get them to even consider putting a song or two of mine on there!

Thanks Alan!
The Maudio Controller is definitely more hammer action and less synthesized with on the keys. I luv it! I really like the weighted feel of the keys as well. I have thousands of sampled sounds so i just incorporate them into my Logic Environment and i'm off and runnin.
I use Logic Pro 7 for all my creatives in music and voice. I use to have pro tools but when i ran into Logic Pro 7 which is the Pro Tools competitor . The overall Environment really really impressed me! . The Plugins are really really nice as well!
Thanks

Scott,
You can go to http://www.xmradio.com/contact_us/contact_us.jsp, look under Programming / XM Channels, and click the radio button for "Unsigned bands interested in XM Airplay". I've got a couple of tunes I'm getting finished up to submit to them as well.

Here's a tune what I wrote when I weren't very depressed or nothin'... honest. It's a partially finished demo and still in the final process of being recorded, mixed and quantized.
My pal Kelly Miller did lead vocals and me and the boys provided the band tracks. My publisher is "Rusty Music" (All Rights Reserved)
Hope it's enjoyable!

Ron! This is GREAT! Reminds me vaguely of Leonard Cohen / Boz Scaggs, but I LOVE IT! Wow, there's some massive talent lurking in the V123 shadows!
The vocals are terrific and I'm groovin' on the guitar licks.
