That was funny.
I´ve been speaking English for half of my life, but that was some difficult listening.
Thanks for sharing. |

(begin Python)
My dearest Mr. Banks,
As an American citizen who has been fully trained at the Toodle-Pip School of British-like Accenting, I take great offense at your latest post.
Not only am I bovvered by the tone of your intent, but by the individual letters in each word!
Someday, sir, someone in a helicopter will catch you behind the woodshed and shout "Stand still laddy!" in a high-pitched cobble-pot voice. I just hope that I'm not there to see it, but will be able to watch it on telly later.
Yours in perpetuity,
General Commander Reginald Smithe-Smythe-Smith, Retired (Mrs.)
(end Python)
We don't get her show over here (and yes, I mean both meanings!)
Here's a wiki for ye:

Bantering Buffoon,
Joe "Toodle-Pip" Thomas (Mrs.) |

Wow that brought back memories of living in England. I don't think it was as bad as trying to understand the movie The Full Monty. That was really ard to understaaand.
The best was when my ex english fiance ( who dumped me the night before the wedding) corrected me and told me that it's not trash it's rubish and it's not a rubish can it's a rubish bin. Then later that day he said he spent too much money and "I lost me ead" Not I lost my head....me ead.
ofcourse when I bragged about losing 5 pounds and he told me that was carless of me....that was funny. |
