Robert doing HARD SELL?? I'm impressed. Good job my friend. Kinda strange that on my lead they had 2 different scripts....one at the top and one at the bottom. I read the top part and produced it. "Hell Drivers"

Hey, this is like the "good old days" (like up to 2 weeks ago) when we all got to compare auditions for the same gig. So in the spirit of nostalgia, I'll post mine, although I don't think it's anything special. In fact, I like Sid's the best.

Dammit Sid. You rock as always. You and Thom are always right behind me.

Now... isn't this the most deletable script of the day.....
-----------------
Intro: Hi, this is [your name] (from/with) [company name] at [website URL, if applicable]. You're listening to ******************** from *******************************. And now here's your host, Ben

Conclusion: You've just listened to ******************** by Ben
------------------
So many blanks.

Sure made it easy to not submit an audition and thus remain in SmartCast's good graces. Razz

I attribute this emotion to my Catholic School upbringing, but when I see that "WARNING!! DANGER!! ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SUBMIT TO THIS LEAD BECAUSE DOING SO MAY CAUSE YOU TO NEVER WORK IN THIS TOWN AGAIN?????!!!" it scares the living sh--t out of me. I can literally feel the sting of the ruler on the back of my hands.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Lee's read, Colin's read, or mine. As always it just depends what the client is looking for. Luck of the draw.

I feel the same "pain" Cira. Guess we're yet to figure THAT part of the new system out. I'm just auditioning for the ones I think I have a chance at and if thats "too many" then fine....I'll go elsewhere.

Thank you, Sid. At least I'm not alone.
(Careful! We don't want Sister Mary Barnacle from Our Lady of the Souvenir Stand to catch us passing notes !) Wink

Sid... coming from you that is a true compliment. Still second guessing myself. It can ALWAYS be better.

Like, how to attach my pop-filter to my card loom...

Slower, unpopped, and 'scared out of my pajamas'! (Sorry, it's still top-of-mouth, because I'm going for the scared participant angle)

Note: I am aware I'm not qualified for this lead (still open as I write this on TOS), but it was too fun a script not to try my hand at. That's why I didn't follow direction. It only took me 36 hours to come to that realisation...
