That's The Faces backing him up, strange that he was still officially with them at the time of this album ("A Nod Is As Good As a Wink To a Blind Horse" came out the same year, 1971), so it must be Kenney Jones on drums (later to replace Keith Moon in The Who)...Fine fine version. When I was small and had drums, this was one I always used to crash along to...my poor parents.... _________________ Chris Mezzolesta www.voiceguy1.com SaVoa #07010

Cool, Scott. Love Dave Mason (and Carole King). I saw him in a local club here recently, Lots of fun. But here's another gutsy lady with a great set of chords.
No Nukes, man. 79 was a great year for me.

Thank You Colin!!!
You posted the Bill Withers version with 26 "I KNOW's." The radio edit from the 70s only had 1/2 that many.
I wanted to get back to you Allison. I was not aware that there was a version with less "I know's." Great trivia.
I am really big on the ORIGINAL and LONG (COMPLETE) version of songs. They're hard to find at times.
Right now I'm searching for "Brother Louie" by The Stories but every copy I find (even pay music sites) is an awful remake by the same guys later in life (or by someone else,) not the original hit I remember. _________________ www.ColinCampbellVoice.com Member SaVoa...#07040...www.SaVoa.org
