Kim-- they only stay little for a short while. Trust me. Treasure every minute.

True...but you can just keep making them, Amy; then it seems like forever.

I get interrupted for the car keys one minute, and Pull-Up Malfunctions the next.

Sweet, sweet posting, Kim.

Sire On!

I debated posting, because I'm typically not prone to verbal outbursts... but even the kids thought it was funny.

Yes, the sink was leaking... finally, a valid interruption! Yes, I followed up with lots of praise for her 'doing the right thing' by interrupting me before the bathroom flooded.

Amy, they do grow too fast. My three will be 6 soon, and I jokingly still say to my husband, "I still can't believe I'm pregnant... with three!"

Robert, sounds like you've got a sweet family. Thanks for the post. And, uh, we're done. I had my litter.

Cheers!

That was precious Kim and thanks for sharing it! I produce most of my auditions at work where you would think the "RECORDING" light would signify to others not to open up the door. But they do and I end up getting very frustrated. I've always deleted those mishaps, but after hearing what happened to you, I'm having second thoughts!
Thanks for the laugh. Laughing

Don't you just feel awful when you react with frustration and then turn to see the look on their face. With my son, he always wants me to open his Playdough. The tops on those containers are hard to get off. The other thing he always wants to do is record like daddy.

I've told many a new parent with a tiny baby...

"I know you've heard all the official "Stages of child development by now, but here are the real stages...
1) "Oh, I wish he/she could crawl."
2) "Oh, I wish he/she could talk."
3) "Oh, I wish he/she could walk."

4) "WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
