Well, you didn't have a choice. I don't think you can find applause and laughter on a Larry the Cable Guy CD.

Ha.....I'm guessing you don't like "Larry....." either. I've never bought a CD by him and never watched either. I brought him up on YouTube and did the audition.

Superb Larry read Sid - Hope you get the job - Not the cable guy sound-alike - different - but very good! -

Someone else did a damn fine spot on Larry read - (forgot who ? I apologize to them and the pygmys in New Guinea ) I'll have to go back and listen...

A late night audition that just popped up. I did three reads with the same continuous bed underneath. I suppose that is kind of lazy but I thought the music fit with what the client would like and I just didn't know if I had time to produce it properly.

Well... ::::crawling out of the dungeon:::: now that I've caught up with my auditions et al... time to catch up with you fine folks! Listened to some auditions - everybody sounds in pretty good form - Sid, your Larry the Cable spot cracked me up even tho' I'm not a gun advocate - but ya I know, you're just reading the script...

Darn, when I hear all your wonderfully produced spots (Thom, Sid, Colin, etc..) it makes me want to go out and get a music library - some spots just scream for production... like that hospital one. Can any of you guys make some good recommendations for sound libs?

Here's a couple from last week and this week. I should throw that hamburger one in there too...

The Francis Scott Key piece. I know I did not even come close to Ken Burns, but it was a fun read anyway and I enjoyed giving it an effort. Thought the direction was good from the seeker.

Thom, NICE read. Do you submit "produced" pieces to 123? or did you produce just for us??

Hey everyone. This is my first submission of an audition for review/critique....(I'm just starting to put together on my demos.) I've had some discussion on some of the other threads about a lot of technical issues with my studio setup here...so just to let you know, the end-result of said disucssions was this demo WITHOUT any audio processing, save a little bit of gate to reduce some road noise outside.

Anyway, here's my take on the Francis Scott Key lead. Thanks!

David
