Well Ron, your talent and equipment can't be THAT bad, if you've landed a couple of gigs already! _________________ Regards,

If you haven't listened to Ron's demos you need to! What a GREAT and UNIQUE voice! No wonder he's already landed some! Anyone wanting a Sam Elliott delivery need look no further.
Welcome, Ron, and I can't wait to hear more of your stuff! _________________ Scott R. Pollak

I did listen, but found the sound quality of the demos to be terrible! That gotta be a technical V123-issue, right?? _________________ Regards,

Hey Ron
Were here to help with the tech stuff, give us a shot. We got more opinions than pintos in a bowl of chili beans.
Tell us what your rig is and how your space is set up. Then set back and you’ll get a heaping helping of what is good for you regarding a better rig for better sound.
Some of us have pretty good ability at that and some of us just got opinions. Maybe I fall into the Got Opinions category.
Go ahead and pull the trigger on it and send use the lowdown. And so you wont forget, post before mid night tonight. Over void where prohibited. Tax, Tag and Title not included.
To be serious we got some sharp folks here that can help, including Jacob. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"

Yeah, you guys have helped quite a bit, I have tweaked a lot based on all the post I have read. I have had those old auditions on my profile for about a year, I hate to place new ones on there because of the private audition offers and jobs I get from them.
Right now I am doing a complete upgrade on my system and will see how well that works, after I'm finished I will place better demos on my profile.
Any suggestions from you guys are always welcome, I am trying to adjust to recording in the digital world, I really appreciate you guys help with this, I am using sound forge 8.0 and all the learning material out there seems to cater to pro tools. |

Oh yeah, the audio quality was sub par, but I was focusing mainly on the guy's voice! He sounds like he has about 6 testicles, with half of 'em hangin' in South America and the others hanging out at the OK Corral!

Oh thanks Ed, but I'm just one small part of what I would now like to officially christian as "the Savvy Junior-Geek Brat-Pack"!
A small group of hopelessly lost kids, whom their parents weren't able to redirect into accounting or law-school in time, including Emmett, Kebler, Emmanuel and others who are eligible. We accept applications, by the way. _________________ Regards,

Thanks, Ron... but don't quit. You have your share of fans, as you can tell!
Do you still have your original demos? Maybe there's something we can do about the sound quality. _________________ Regards,

| The partial auditions on my profile are some of my originals as well as some stored in my sound forge files. |
