I post this with a little trepidation because it is not from v123 but I see the forum guidelines say from anywhere and also because I have had some sound problems which have after this was done have been corrected and also because I am new.
Before I did this I did not talk about price so after it was completed I quoted $350 based on other projects I had done of similar length. Very nervously yesterday I sent it off saying I realized we had not talked about price, etc, well shortly after I got an email saying they could justify paying $500. Needless to say I was delighted.
Here is the last page of 5 which although there is a sound problem I am still pretty pleased with. And he actually said that the my voice was very good but the filming which they had done could have been better. Anyway here it is.

Hi Edwin! I like the vague European accent you've got and the tone of your voice as well. The only thing that takes away from it is the editing. It sounds to me like you take too many breaths and when you so, you don't edit them out and tighten the sentence up. It's a bit distracting. Learning how to do it properly isn't easy and I still screw it up from time to time. For me, when I know I have to edit out breaths, I record, edit, take a listen, and then walk away for a few minutes. It's easier to hear it what you've done has a natural flow if you give your ears a rest for a bit. I've done stuff I thought was great and when I come back for the second listen, I really hear the pauses. My other fault is reading a script too slow and taking the time to walk away and come back really makes it easier to catch that mistake before I send off a file. Congrats on your gig!

Thanks September, I will heed your advise, I think the editing is something I really need to concentrate on and as you say walking away and coming back sounds like a good technique.
I picked up the check a couple of days ago and they were all smiles in the office so it felt pretty good.
Edwin
