Michael, I think it would be ok to remove the word "Possibly" from the thread title.....

That was horrible! kotz

...let's just hope that their food is better than their commercials.

Actually, you could probably delete "Sushi" and "Restaurant" from the title as well!

Very Happy

Yes Yes.........it's stupid, hokey, dry & completely "wrong" BUT it's also kinda funny, happy, original and appeals to a lot of people who have that sense of humor.

There's a "cowboy" type guy who doesn a ton of commercials all over the U.S. and his tag line is "We don't care how you git here folks....JUST GIT HERE!!". He makes in the neighborhood of $500,000 a year.

You just never know what will bring in the GREEN.........

It most definately has made it's rounds on the internet, so I'm guessing as bad as it is, it was at least money well spent.

I think the most interesting part of what is, inherently, a darned clever - albeit horribly done - commercial, is the on-site v/o tag done, probably into the boom mike on the camera, with the acres of ambient room echo behind it.

Ya know what's really sad? This spot probably works almost as well as Cookie Puss in those Carvel Ice Cream adds. They're so annoying that people actually flock to the business.
