|
|
Hello: I am a newbie and am having a hrd time uploading a demo or an audition. I downloaded one of those free MP3 converters so I could convert my WMA files. I convert them and it says MP3 Format, but when I try to upload, all I get is a very fast soundwipe.
The MP3 formatted file will play on my computer, but I can't upload to Voices 123. Already missed a great audition. Any ideas?

Brian, it sounds like you are not quite ready to start auditioning.
You really need to have your recording and uploading or sending capabilities up and running before you tell someone that you are ready to do a job for them.
What software are you using to capture your sound? _________________ Connie Terwilliger - New Yorker Cartoon

Hi Connie, thanks. I'm using the Windows Recorder that's on my PC.
I downloaded Switch to convert those WMA files to MP3, I have a pretty good naked demo I would like to get out there for now, just to get my voice heard.

Woa, please don't use windows recorder! I'm not trying to be rude but only trying to help and save you alot of headaches.
There are quite a few great free sound recording/mixing software packages out there.
2 of the more popular ones are Audacity and Goldwave
Sounds like you already are trying goldwave. If you want to try audacity, here is the link: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ |
