Hi all... Just wanted to say hello....after 30 years in major market radio and freelance stuff on the side, I decided to try and pump up the voice work! I must say one thing....you guys are good!!

I enjoy reading everyone's posts....hopefully I'll get a little work!

Hello back atya from another radio pro of 30+ years.

A couple of thoughts, Bill, after listening to your demos on your page:

- You need to edit the 'narration' demo. It's raw with your retakes and your opening comments ("I' will give you.. uh... two reads of every little segment here..." [bump microphone])

- next; it sounds like you're coming from where I was a handful of years ago. You have that great big radio voice, and you may find it's not in vogue in voiceovers. Broadcasting and voiceovers are really different animals. You'll need to learn how to quit selling and become more real; although for things like your "Hoops" demo, your voice is GREAT. You sound like someone, though, who CAN easily learn to become more 'real' with their delivery and - unfortunately for the rest of us - compete in the v/o world.

Welcome and best of luck!
