You have lots of outside noise to contend with, too, don't you? That's maddening.
I have moveable walls of sound-dampening material within the closet I use for recording, which cuts out a lot of the city noise I'm surrounded by, but when my neighbors drive up in their loud, souped up, off-road pickup, it blows the take everytime. Welcome to the south.

You really kept your cool Deby. My Italian mouth would have gotten the best of me after going through all of that.
Thanks for sharing!

Yeah Melba.........I like to record after midnight.......Everyone is asleep in Derby,CT after midnight.
Allison.....Well in the Winter my Mom was a teacher....in the summer she taught daily vacation bible school...So I don't curse very much......My ex husband was in construction....I used to take all his quarters, when I implemented the cuss jar....Every time either one of us said a "bad" word we would have to put a quarter in the jar...
There was one exception though......We could cuss during sex....He loved when I would beg for him to &%$& me! LOL

At first I was just going to say that I liked the part where you said you had just finished a spot for a bank and she thinks you are a bank... And then I read the last post.
Is that worth a dollar into the jar then?

Oh man! You had me in stitches. Reminds me of when I was working for a book store and this guy kept calling, asking for our banking hours. We couldn't get it through his head that he had the wrong phone number. He kept hanging up and calling us again.

LOL! Very funny, Deb!
Vaguely reminiscent of about this time last year when I had to hang it up for 2 days while they re-roofed my house. Not only was there incessant banging, but things were falling off the walls and small pieces of plaster were coming out of the ceiling!
