OK, I'll jump in. Seeker looking for Lord of the Rings feel. Am I old enough? Am I wise enough? What the heck is "T-energy," anyway? Add the odd slate and you have the makings of feedback galore.

Listening to it again, a few hours later - I'm confident the character is not aged enough. Should've been more patient with this one. I confess often I'm too anxious to click submit.

Well, not REALLY knowing what they're looking for (and they probably don't know either!) I personally liked your read a lot. That's a lead I'd love to have received, but alas.........

Scott, If I could forward my invitation to you I would. Unfortunately, I'm trying to refrain from auditioning for gigs this week (i.e. doing MY JOB!). I've learned that it's SMART(er) to pass on good invitations today because tomorrow I'll get sweeter offers (i.e. 70 dollar Hyundai)
No really, I love that my on-line lead generatior is so SMART!
So Sorry, that Lead that Kent nailed was also in your wheelkit.

Kent, I think you nailed it! Make sure they spell your name right on the check.

Kent --
As always, I love your voice so much I have to listen to the thing a couple of times to get past the rich timbre. But I agree with you that it should have been older for the ancient wise man. The perfect tone you had on "changed" at the end was right on it -- that was needed throughout. Perhaps after hearing it this way, however, they could decide on making him younger. You just never know.

I got 3 stars on my T-energy demo (average 2.7). Kent, I suspect your rating was higher. If that's not what they're looking for, perhaps they should be.
Meanwhile, in light of last week's discussion about the Dr. Seuss-ish lead, I notice that they have received their quota of 100 demos but have not yet opened a single one of them.

I noticed that, too, Lee, but not to worry. As mentioned, I've actually done a job for Fluent and they're legitimate and they're very professional. They'll open 'em.

Just curious, did anyone else audition for the "New Business Pitch: The Spark"? I got a 4 when the avg was a 2.8 and it's closed now. Just wondering what it took to nab this one.

Lee (and all the other Grinches)
Just received noticed that my Dr. Suess was opened... average ratings were at 2.7... and as far as MY rating... let's just say that all of your odds of getting the gig just got better.

I thought you'd be great for that one when I saw it. I'm in the "4" boat with you. In regards to what it took to get it... don't know since it wasn't me. Guess we'll have to cross that Jeff Bridges when we come to it.

Avg is now 2.9 and suffice it to say that mine is in the middle of the pack.
