Thanks for submitting your Cat audition. When it's a character voice, who can tell if it's good or bad? Only the seeker knows for sure.

But actually, I was asking what happened to the seeker on this job. Have they selected a winner? Does anybody know?

Napa Valley?
Pronunciation?

I am doing a piece for this 60" TV commercial for a Californian production house and I am nervous of the pronunciation. They want an English voice, not American, so I stuck to what I do best. This is my music I stuck to it coz they want to infer a threesome will be had by these three actors. I swear it's true.

I have done work for these guys before and they are real pro's. Really good producers, but I want to ensure that everyone understands it.

Waddaya say?

Wow, really -- that's the concept? Interesting...

Your read combines three things I love, however (no connection to the implied threesome above) -- wine, California, and British voices. Napa is correctly pronounced, as is all the rest.

Beautifully done!

Simon...I think your Elmo ended up with a slight mexican accent. Kermit was not spot on but, the fact that he wasn't spot on is not the real issue it's the timing of the delivery...... Overall I think you did a good job on something that is not easy!

Here is my cartoon read. It's actually for a thrush character not a chicken. It is a spoof of a food critic (like on Iron Chef)
I normally do not put in 3 reads but, the 3 characters are so different from each other. I think the second is the most bird like. The 3rd is the most adorable and, the first is the most pompous. Not talking

Tell me what you think.

Excellent read... real deep and rich. You've got great pipes!

I'm not sure about the music... I'm so used to hearing these with more of a "classical" music bed... especially with the English accent... but given the intended visual, maybe you should go with the stereotypical Barry White music bed... or maybe Marvin Gaye.
