Just finished this one last night. I'm pretty proud of it.

But just because I think it's good doesn't mean it is.

LET ME HAVE IT!

I downloaded, I reached for my headphones, put them on, hit play, 3 seconds later they were off and so was the audio.

You're trying to sound like "them". In a saturated market, you need to sound like you as that's your only edge.

Good luck

Have to agree with Phillip on this one. You're trying too hard to be "them".

Your read at the beginning was the best of the piece I think! (this preview...). Keep with that and work from there. I think you've actually got a killer trailer read somewhere in there.

Also, something that kinda bugs me when I hear demos, and maybe it's just me, but when the copy of the demo spoofs itself, it kind of takes away from the professionalism of it ("over-dramatic voices"). The thing I go for in demos is make it sound as real as possible. I don't want people thinking I can do a movie trailer, I want them thinkig I've done a movie trailer.

You read every phrase with the exact same timing, pitch, and tone. That's not what a pro trailer vo does at all which is why it doesn't even work as parody.
