Hello:

I hope this finds everyone well. I need help.

I have deen doing voice over locally for about..umm..3 years. And I have worked somewhat steadily. I joined voice 123 about 3 months ago and no work. Why??

I would appreciate comments, wise-words, and guidance. Thanks!!

J.
I guess I will be the first to provide some feedback for you.

First let me say, that you have a good voice and I can hear why you get work locally. The talent is there.

Things I noticed;
First, your diction on the first piece is a little weak. You need to determine the power words and punch them more.

Second, on the narrative reads, you don't have much voice inflection. It seems like you are trying to use the music beds to develop emotion, but your voice needs to accomplish that and let the music supplement and build it.

Third, the southern accent is quite an accomplishment but for a technical read I would dial it back a few notches. Turn it up on pieces that have some humor or are far more informal.
