I'm sending this demo out to a friend in the children's programming dept. What i need to know is... is it too flat... too much... does it work for children's programming... AND... how's the order of the spots...
ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

I like the overall piece.
If you are looking for suggestions;
I think you show a pretty narrow range here. If it is intentiaonal, send it as is. If not, I would try to add a more down tempo piece that highlights the smooth quality I hear in your voice.

| I really liked this! The only thing I'd do differently is take full advantage of specific words presented to you in the sides. "cool" was said 5 times and it could've been cooler everytime you said it. Also words like energy and rockin' I'd amp those up. Stellar performances nonetheless!

Khristine:
Really, really, really nice.
And good to hear from at least one other woman that ain't gonna let Amy run a solo race here.
I thought you rocked throughout, but as a demo I'd clip the first bit after "fun centre"....the part beginning with "Club Cool..." I'd also snip out the bit in snippet 3 after "get the picture?"
That'll shorten the whole thing while not losing any strengths.
And while the whole thing gets my ears a-flappin', I don't see it as falling within any Children's Programming interest.
For that, don't you have more suitable, voic-y, character things kicking about, which you could add to that last bit? And toss in a few seconds of a kiddy-book read?
That'd be the way I'd go.
But you've got it, Sis; and we'll be hearing from you.
Voice On!

You didn't ask but I'd like to say that your voice looks great. Clean and dense, and solid! That's an unusual and desirable combination. Your voice almost "swoons" with energy.

Demo was great, so is your voice and acting.
The demo cuts need to be tighter....note I didn't say shorter. Some cut might be a tad long but it didn't throw me off entirely.
Now the only marketing question you need to ask yourself as a voice actor is should I include my comp card in my marketing? Your picture is nice but as a voice actor, does it hurt to feature your image in front of a voice casting director?
That might be another thread for another time.
Overall nice job.

Nice job. High pace...I would've loved to hear something a little slower and low-key as someone else had mentioned. And actually, I liked the "get the picture?" I don't know why, it makes you kinda go "um, yeah"...maybe it's something that we're used to hearing women say in a few of their gab sessions.
Well, that's about it....cheers!
