Happy April! Just uploaded my new website and would love feedback. Tweaked a couple demos, but not all of them yet.

Real nice Scott, The only thing that bugged me was that my default browser window was just a hair too small to entirely fit any of the pages. I had to scroll just a schoosh in order to see what was at the bottom. Personal pet peeve.

The best person to get a critique from would be Scott Pollak. He's got yrs of experience in web design.
I like the sight alot. Looks creative. However; is having a two page entrance requirement necessary? Do voice seekers and casting agents have time to take that extra one second step?
As another voice talent, I enjoyed exploring your sight. Will voice seekers feel the same way? This is only my opinion, but it maybe more user-friendly if we were able to click onto the site and see clickable options right away, rather than have to click into a 2nd page.
If my opinion is wrong, I'm sorry. It IS only my opinion.
Best of luck to you!

You shouldn't need to scroll down to select "Skip Intro"
And once I skip it, I can't email you, I can't call you, I can't find out too much about you other than listen to your demos...whoops! I can, but again, I need to scroll down to get there. It didn't look like anything else was there.
How is this site for SEO? It doesn't seem to have much content.
The Intro is nice and creates an image and branding well. _________________ BEAT LA!!! BEAT LA!!! BEAT LA!!!

Nice! I like the image with the bag over your head...Not because you're ugly or anything,,,,, am sure a lot of hotties love it..(but) I like the mystery of the man behind the voice. I'd take that image and put it on the main page too at the right corner after the skip intro and keep it there..
Depends! It's your site as long as you l like it, it's what counts..
If someone doesn't have quicktime pro you can't download the demo (last I remember trying to download a quicktime mp3 apple wouldn''t let me unless I paid for the pro version) plus can't remember the last time I right clicked... things may have changed....
The paypal button is too big and that other one with the star... right when you walk in it says: is it payday today? Paypal right here
The image that's on the download page would look nicer on the front page...It's got more of a kick swap it... this would be good image for main page: the one on the right.

Put the links, home, contact in the middle and change the font. It's simple..I like simple but it could be simpler. As long as it works for you...
Stop wait! I didn't see there was another page...there is another image of you on the page..If you use that one put boarders round personally I like boarders

Nice music playing in the background... _________________ Always trust the voice within!

Well I am a pretty picky snob when it comes to website layouts/design and I'm not even a developer .
I kind of glanced over the posts above so please forgive me if my reply is repetitive.
I personally think the font for the header "Scott Smith" is slightly too hard to read. Yes, it's very cool and flashy but I think it's just a tad too extreme.
Your navigation links (characters, more characters, etc) are very plain, standard and boring compared to the overall layout of the site. You already appear to have a good base and structure but what are visitors going to use the most? The navigation links. I would recommend converting this into something more flashy, not too overboard though. Just some simple buttons would be much better then a generic font with an underline. I would also suggest moving your navigation links to the top of your page as it would provide easier and more efficient navigation for the visitors.
Ok, I'm done being picky |

Hi Scott ~
Great demos! And congrats on your website getting up and running.
Things I noticed:
The intro page is too big to be seen all at once so in order to watch the "whole show" and take in everything that's happening, you have to scroll a bit, up and down. And the "skip intro" needs to be scrolled down to, to see. I think it'd be nicer if you could just have the whole intro "fit" into one screen. (Although I love all the red.)
I agree with the comment above on the font used for your links. It looks like Times New Roman, underlined. Considering how great the rest of the colors/fonts are, the link font seems a bit plain in comparison. The Paypal button seems a bit big and I was wondering what the other button next to Paypal is? You can't tell right away what it's there for.
Also, is there a way to turn off the music once you enter the site (on the page with all the links?).
Nice job though!
Maxine
