I was watching the History Channel documentary tonight about Dr. Martin Luther King. Let me say that I am a misunderstood Republican, a "compasionate conservative." I've admired Dr. King since I was a child. Non-violent protest is more powerful than violent (at times. terrorists not withstanding.)
More than that, for the purposes of this forum, he was a magnificent orator.
I thought I'd offer a recording I have among my archives of his COMPLETE "March on Washington" speech.
He was a great man who's life ended much too early. Again for this forum... how well he could speak and get his message to the people.
