In a town gone mad
Two unlikely heroes will team up
and discover a few things about life, love..
and justice.
He was from the wrong side of the tracks
but he made something of himself all the same...
Rick Schroeder is Sgt. Leads
He was a rebel with a heart of gold
but this time they have pushed him too far...
Scott Bakula is Det. Reads
They both prefer to work alone
but when the Columbian drug lord / arms dealer
who got off on a technicality
kidnaps both their daughters
They join forces...
They are Leads and Reads.
This time, they're playing for keeps.

Good one, Erik -- perhaps my favorite kick off witticism of yours to date. Made more intriguing by the fact that they both have -- the SAME daughter???

Ya know, you're a pretty funny guy Eric! Thanks for the laugh... I find myself checkin in on Mondays to see what witticism you've written for the week.
Plus... bonus points for the Scott Bakula reference. I had a HUGE crush on him in his "Quantum Leap" days.

It's hard to compete against a Scott Pollak trailer, but since "Bakula" is supposed to rhyme with "Dracula," I think I still have a shot.

Betcha don't know what a "double double" is. (It's a Canadian thang.)

Nice Fowler there, Dave. I'd only quibble with your ssslow ssstart on the early "START".
The direction I received through another source was for a Canadian Sam Elliott; almost a cowboy-ish tone; slow, knowledgeable and confident.
I went character, but prefer the clarity of yours.
As a good Canadian who occasionally worships at Tim Horton's, I understood the double double, but still do not get their differentiation between a Weekend Warrior and a Saturday Stud.
Voice On!
