SmartCast sent me a lead for one of the parts in that same project that Deby auditioned for. Unfortunately, the only one I got was for TJ, an African American male. Confused

Two especially fun ones today - On the first one, they wanted something that sounded like a commercial from the 50s. -Don't know what that means so I game them 3.

Thanks for the input David. You agree with my fiance (Patricia Shanks, a talented voice performer herself). I on the other hand like spot one the best. But after many years of doing this, a realized long ago that I have no ability to figure out just what a client is looking for.

On the occaisions that I get to hear the final choice, my response is usually "What were they thinking!".

Twice, I've received feedback on auditions that was something like "We were amazed, you gave us EXACTLY what we wanted. But when we heard the spot done the way we envisioned it, we decided that our idea wasn't so good after all."

I agree with Dave, I like number 3 the best. It was solid. Here's my take.....kind of a tongue in cheek 50's thing complete with echo distortion and of course bad music.
