new form of audio marketing that can send a focused beam of sound directly into your brain.... well, almost....

this is just a bit too scary.. imo...

Wow...yeah a little creepy if you didn't know what was happening, but incredibly cool from both an audio engineering and marketing standpoint.

But still less annoying than motion-activated audio on arcade games and vending machines which blare an invitation to throw away your money as you're walking by. I jump out of my skin every time. Laughing

I am thinking that this technology would make it very difficult to know if I was getting beamed a message or if it was one of my imaginary friends speaking to me.

In the future, your imaginary friends will be real.

Creepy, nasty, gross.

As if there isn't enough garbage assaulting our senses already.

Will probably create a whole new generation of adults with ADD. Just how much stimulation can the human brain take?

And what about the people who have mood disorders, who are trying to manage psychological problems, or who already DO have voices in their heads? Some might "get used to it," but others might be pushed over the edge.

And even though the Tom Cruise video is not what's happening now, it seems like a technology that could be abused in the future.

This is just gross.
