I just got back from Bob Bergen's Advanced Cartoon Class at the Edge Studio.....that was in NYC this weekend.

For those that don't know. Bob is the "new Porky Pig"

I never took his beginning class but, the people at the Edge thought I was ready....and I did take Paul Liberti's beginning cartoon and character class. Which was amazing as well.

Wow, I love the fast challenging pace of his directing. We did scenes from the cartoon version of Fraggle Rock. It was just like an audition the first day.....and then it was a full day of recording the show. I got cast as Red, Mokey, Ma Gorg, and Wembly. The show was cast more than once... What fun! It felt so great to be able to "work off" other great actors in the booth. The energy was really great. I also loved that fact that he did not want an imitation of the original. We had to come up with our own character choices to commit to.

Also while I was out.....Roger took boards and sound tiles and boarded up ALL THE WINDOWS in the living room (recording room). I can't wait to record something tomorrow after I've had some sleep. I feel so inspired.....I guess I should at least google search Tara Strong before I let my head hit the pillow.....Bob said I reminded him of Tara Strong...and I hate to admit it....but I have no idea who she is....Of course I had no idea who EG Daily was until September said I had parts of her in one of my character reads....Ok...I'm so tired, I'm rambling...night night. roll smilie roll smilie schlafen schlafen schlafen schlafen schlafen
