HEARD COLIN ON THE AIR YESTERDAY!

Just wanted to make a little public acknowledgment that I heard Colin Campbell on a national Citgo spot yesterday (one I also auditioned for, but lost to a better-qualified talent!).

If you hear a rather odd spot talking about a philosopher, a mom, and a host of other folks, Colin is the Philosopher. I heard it on 97.1 The River here in Atlanta yesterday as I was driving along.

Good job, Colin!!!
(I'd say good job, 'buddy', but I know you don't care for that term! Laughing

The only thing I like just as much as hearing myself on a spot that paid me money is hearing one of my Savvy friends on one ... like hearing Caryn on the "Just One Thing" spots or Todd (I think it was Todd) on New Hampshire International Speedway or Scott on the Mothers Polish spot. I hope I get a chance to catch Colin's Citgo spot.

It is awesome to see such a talent finally starting to get the national recognition he deserves.

I have a feeling this is nothing compared to what he will be doing this time next year.

Based on the quality of the leads I've been seeing lately, I'd say that by this time next summer quite a few of us will be doing work for Citgo. Unfortunately, not the kind of work Colin got to do. Crying or Very sad

I searched the ISCI's through Westwood One, AURN, ABC and Jones Media. No luck. Did the client give you any idea which national network they'd be advertising with?
