in response to a number of advertisers including the local CBS affiliate trolling for non-pros to do commercials for no pay.

No other direct significance to anything on this board at the moment AFAIK, just popped back into my head and thought it'd be a good conversation starter.

I often reply to Craigslist postings from newbie VOs (helpfully I mean, not condescending) directing them to the very excellent Sticky in the Newbies forum, and gotpay.org popped into the brain...so check it out if you get a chance...

Do you know if Jean has updated the site since 2005? Great concept, but it seems dormant.

I last spoke to her about a year ago I think, it didn't come up, but may well warrant a "what's up"E....

I'd say even since then, that the industry has changed in palpable ways...
