Well, just wanted to let everyone know that tonight is my last night with V123.

Unless I win that free years subscription, I am going to have to let my premium membership expire.

Gas and groceries are kicking my ass!

Sorry V123...You priced yourself right out of a customer.

The ironic thing about all of this is:

On my very last night with premium V123...I scored a gig.

I will now be the voice of the city of Fort Worth Texas!

Here is the Demo that won me the gig.

I'll still be hanging around the Forum
But as for V123...Until they come back down on the subscription fee, I just can't afford it anymore.

Good job on the Fort Worth lead...
Sorry Voice123 isn'ty working for you.
One would think someone with your talent would be able to pay the subsciption fee quickly with paid gigs.

Nice job on the Ft. Worth demo. And thanks for letting us know you got it. Every time Scott or someone else posts a story about being contacted by a seeker he auditioned for six months ago, I start holding out hope of perhaps getting the call from a lead that is so far in the past, I can't even remember doing it. Now I know I can cross the Ft. Worth project off my list.

Ron --

From another recently "expired" P-subsciber, that's a nice parting gift! (The last audition I did here was never even opened.)

Even though I more than doubled my money here this past year with only two gigs, and in my first year did VERY well with many gigs large and small, I still let it lapse until I am happier with the direction the site takes. Too much upheaval now, and too many unanswered questions for me to plunk my $300 down at this time.

Congrats on the gig, and may it lead to others. And use that expended 123 cash/energy for more lucrative return. It's different for everyone. I guess because each of us has something unique to offer that alternative marketing would better serve.

Best of luck!

Congrats on the gig Ron! 2 daumen hoch
I'm glad you'll be sticking around the forum, even though the subscription to 123 isn't working for you right now. Can't say I blame you. You have to do what's best for you.
