I was so saddened to hear about George Carlin's passing. Or as George would say, "died." He was a complete genious. Here's one of my favorite clips by GC:

After watching that... for the record....

I'm a half-blind albino with good ears. And, I'm old

I am not "visually hadicapped." I am not a "person with albinism." I'm not handicapped at all, I am simply a "half-blind albino with good ears." I wouldn't have those good ears if I wasn't half blind. I would not have an emense desire to shine behind a microphone if I was not a tad self-concience about my appearance.

I think sometimes these new terms are more demeaning than the ones they replace.

Loved it. Thank you for posting it Allison!

I applaud you Colin! noch cooler

And for the record, you are not old. You're wise for your years.

I always admired George Colin for his interpretation of the English language. He was a comedian that made us think.

For any of us who have ever been on a plane, here's one of his great skits about the usage of airline language:

I believe both clips I posted came from a night he was at Madison Square Garden, then broadcast on HBO. He had alot of great moments. Truely, a comedic legend who will be missed.
