My wife told me that I should record my morning voice so I could hear what I sound like before I have my coffee in the morning. So yesterday morning I recorded myself before my coffee. People talk about their morning voices, so I thought I'd post mine and hope that others will post theirs as well.....should be fun. Here it is.

| That's pretty good, Tom. Mine would sound somewhat similar - perhaps not quite as low - but with some snorts and hocking trying to get stuff out of the throat.

| NO WAY MAN! That's not your morning voice. You can't sound like that in the morning 1st thing. Everyone sounds like Barry White in the morning....even women! hahahahaha My voice changes considerably from 1st thing in the morning to the afternoon.

Ok... maybe I've been up a *little*...
I do a lot of daily vocal warm-ups, and singing stretches - maybe that helps with MVS (Morning Voice Syndrome)

I love hearing the morning voices! Mine (especially if the night involved, say.... scotch) sounds so very much like a man's, that I am routinely confused for either my husbankd or teenage son (both of whom would kill for that low of a voice!  I have one client who likes what he annoyingly calls a "sexy read." I often wonder if I should book his jobs at 6 a.m. !
