Hello guys and gals. It is good to finally have a forum to chat with other Voice 123 members. With that said I have attached my 2006 Demo reel to this post. I am a comic / cartoon style VA. I hope you like my vocal and mixing demo reel.

The gigs in my reel are from some of my clients. Enjoy. . . . . . I hope.

Take care.

There are some fun characters on here but you might want to compress your demo a bit. I think maybe just 10 seconds or so with each voice should be enough to show what you can do and still keep the listener engaged. But, what do I know?

Any feedback is welcomed feedback.. The reason it is long like this is for the mixing side of things, my new 2007 reel I am working on is broken down into short clips.

Take care.

Hey Steve,

you've got some great stuff on there man. yeah, definitely shrink down the time on each of those reads, and i'd say pick maybe five or six of the A reads to put on the 07 demo. great work!

Fun demo, well produced, yes... a bit long on some of the characters. But you do the voices well. My concern for any of us who do character voices is how much work is out there for this type of service. As both a talent AND a producer, I see very little call for character voices.

Be that as it may, as everyone else has said, shrink this down to a tight and fast-moving :60 and you'll have a killer demo. BTW, I listened to this thru headphones and it sounded terrific!
