Ok...I have been working on this for a while. I had this idea to make my main demo a narrative instead of a bunch of clips stitched together. The idea is to show my range but tell a story.
I don't think I have seen this done by anyone.
As always, I really appreciate feedback and on this one I mean anything...copy changes, read changes, music changes. I will be really grateful for any suggestion, criticism or the ever popular "you go girl".
Thanks,

| George! That was very cool. I really liked it. The only criticizm I have is lazy Larry's voice was cool, but a bit too sinusy....I had a hard time understanding some of the stuff he was saying. And near the end when you say or crawl on your hands and knees...the music/sfx were smothering your voice....I had a hard time hearing the first half of that sentence. Other than that I really enjoyed it. You sound good man.

George,
I want to extend kudos to you on several fronts: creativity, originality, and the extent that your production has come along. You did a really good job on this and as far as a character demo it might work okay for you. The disclaimer at the end was a nice touch too. I'd consider posting this as a character voice demo, but certainly NOT as your main narrative demo since it ain't.
Now, all that being said, the more I hear from you the more I think your forte' is, in fact, these types of character voices. You might never be able to lose your pronounced accent, and you just have a naturally good-old-boy, guy-next-door twangy friendliness to your voice. And that will work in a lot of cases, but not for the serious narratives. But perhaps you need to concentrate on your strengths, which are within this demo, and go after those jobs that want a 'character'. Yes, the leads will be fewer, but I think you'll stand a better chance of getting them.
Finally, like Tom, I was underwhelmed by Larry's voice. You may want to go back and tweak this demo by redoing Larry and make him not QUITE so much of a caricature.
But again, you done good. It's not perfect, but then none of our demos are (except Amy's of course). But it's a huge leap from where you were a few months ago. I'm proud of you!

George!
DUDE!
I stand. I applaud. I wave my floppy hat.
You have come light years, man. I stand with my Number Seven Hero in saluting your progress.
I even disagree with the Lazy Larry observations.
He's supposed to be the very antithesis of voice-over, so him being so terrible is good.
Cut him off after one sentence, though (after Super Sale), since he gets very annoying.
Colin's tweaked version really, really worked. Your down-home, friendly sound and the short-story format were (dare I say it?) almost captivating.
Keep it as a generic for those postings suggesting a folksy approach.
And - again - nice work.

Hey thanks everyone for your feedback. My wife says Larry is to nasaly too....
Robert caught my point which was, that Larry was like Bizzaro VO man.
I am going to play with it a little more...maybe tweak Larry and shorten his part.
Thanks again...
I mean it when I say to any extent I have improved it is because of you guys and this forum.

Good Stuff!
You spin a good yarn in this one. I was captured until the end.
Nice edit on Larry, that little taste was just right.
