Ok, so here it is. Tweaked a bit. Let me know what you think. Honestly.

Chuckie...I liked it. Has a nice pace and shows a range of deliveries; good production and f/x.
That being said, I can't quite figure out why I only liked it.
And I'm rarely at a loss for words.
I listened three times and found nothing specific to criticize...yet the whole package is somewhat less than the sum of its parts.
I think it may be that most of the snippets run a tad too long, leaving the listener to assume you haven't done all that many gigs. Or it might be the beeps separating the clips and interrupting the flow.
I liked it. But only that.
Maybe others will better be able to find the missing ingredient, if there is one.
Waffle On!
PS: What's an audio horoscope as mentioned on your site?

Hmmm... I also liked it, but am left with the same feel that Robert has.
Can't tell if it's too short, or the spots are too long or what.
The only definite thing I can put my finger on is that there's a bit of "over-pronnuciation" on the words (a bit too staccato?). Granted, some people have the opposite, mushy word problem, which is often harder to correct. But the delivery sounds a bit too precise, and that may distance you from the listener.
Waffles? Nah, I like Pancakes!,

Way to much reverb at times and I swear I heard the needle peg out on the last bit. No doubt you have a fine collection of SFX and music. Your voice needs work, but that could be a regional accent thing (Northern Accent?) you will have to work on. The over pronounciation is there like Joe said. Also at times sounded mushy. Work on mic placement. Always remember, the voice comes first...otherwords, all the SFX in world doesn't mean a thing.

Thank you both for the comments. Please send more!
An Audio Horoscope is kind of like a 3-5 minute reading of your monthly Horoscope. 1-800-flowers used to have them as part of their birthday bouquet. They are updated each month, obviously. Kind of like an audiobook, or better yet, like an old fashioned radio serial. Real nice niche work if you can get it.
I thought the beeps were a nice touch to separate the pieces. Some demos I listen to I can't tell where one spot ends and the next starts. If some are too long, please let me know which. I chisled some of them done to make this version.

I liked the beeps. I have used them in the past too. I recently changed my beeps out for something else.

| The SFX/verb/compression were an added thing, in response to the negatives I got the other day about how crappy my plain-Jane demos sounded. I would much rather have straight reads, but alas, they do not seem to be working. All the alleged good demos I heard have loads of compression and effects, which I personally cant stand to hear. Ax far as the accent, well, I hear lots of Southern US accents in here too. This is my voice as is. I am trying to loose some of it, but I am not sure anymore where the accent is.

I fear my "in your face" compression and reverb are catching on. Might be a bad thing since I am not truly convinced it is a good thing. I can tell you a DO NOT like the tones between pieces. If I were to seperate the pieces somehow, I would to some sort of "woosh."

Ok, I have taken some advice, and change it a little bit. Is this better?

| I really am not digging the "zipper" sound between spots (esp. the prostate one - ouch!)

| Joe's right, kill the zipper. And make sure you're not moving away from any one piece too quickly, of course staying too long's not good either...

| Have you had the chance to bop over to Voicebank to hear what top-level, professional demos sound like? You have the talent. You don't want your demo to scream "Hi! I'm new!"

Ok, this is it before the weekend. I took out the woosh and put in the beep, only I made it much shorter, kind of like the beep in "Lost"
