Thanks so much, I FINALLY got it to work and the way it happened (in case this helps any other newbie), is that instead of initially saving it, I chose to OPEN from the LAME download link which unzipped it for me.

Thanks again, and I actually HAVE successfuly submitted an audition! Yea!

Annie

Thank you SO MUCH Freddie. I thought I mentioned several times that the LAME files were zipped and you need to extract them to a KNOWN location so you can then EXPORT out of Audacity and answer the prompt but alas, I guess I was not clear enough.

Hi Colin! Just wanted you to know that you were indeed so helpful, and did in fact make that info very clear to me, but for some reason, even WITH my brand spanking new computer & Windows Vista, I could not for the life of me Unzip the .dll file after saving LAME to the proper location, but alas managed to to do it the other way that I had mentioned. End result being success, I am just glad that I am up and running with finally being able to submit a blasting MP3 file, now here's hoping I one day soon get an actual voice over job, and will feel that all this effort till 3:00 am will have been worth it!! LOL
Thanks to everyone again!
