I go to Messiah College and I am 52 yr old part-time student. My major is Broadcast Production. I am a DJ there on Sundays at 4-6PM. WVMM/90.7FM during the school year and summer-except spring break and holidays. Listen to the station the-If you want I'll give you a personal shout out. We have streaming audio.
I have transferred all my hours from N.C. A. & T S. U. I graduated there in 77. Therefore I am a junior at Messiah. Problem is that I work 8 hours a day. So I can take only 1 class at a time By the time I grauate I'll be collecting social security. Give me some out of the box thinking folks so I can expediate my graduation.

| What is your goal for your degree? What will this degree do for you?

I looked at your profile. You have an interesting story. Let us know when you put your demo up. In the meantime, you may want to run a quick spell check so the focus is on you and not your spelling errors.
Although, I can't give you any ideas on how to expedite your education, I can say this.......
It sounds as though you have a pretty fun, fulfilling and challenging life, already. Instead of looking at graduation as the goal, why not just enjoy the journey?
In the meantime, welcome to this niche community.

No, honestly, You were right on, but as for now my objective is to learn quickly, introduce myself to the community, and not worry about million dollars words. Yeah, I want a better paying career, who doesn't? But the point I want to emphasize, that for the first time in my life, I have found something that I do well. You see Kat, I had to learn how to walk, and talk over again. The doctors thought I would have the regain mental agility I once had. But God proved them wrong! I heard 2's sermon by Pastor Clifford Ashe about confidence.. At first my major was Art, (my art is about as good as my grammer), so I changed my major to Broadcasting Production. During my early years I was a sweathog in school, but now despite a head-injury, memory problems, and slurred speech, I can DJ with and zeal. I have been a Capt in the Army, a prison guard, and a lady shoesalemen , and finally I have found my home in the DJ Suite.
