Very Happy I think a quick couple of tidbits about myself may help you formulate opinions or suggestions to this poor newbie. First off I am a former amateur comedian. Suffice to say, tractor pulls and UFO sitings got more exposure than I.
The most voice work I did was on a online radio show as well as a Fanvid of Mystery Science Theater 3000. I am currently experimenting with Wavepad and trying to get a feel for wacky, zany voices as well as the capacity for merely reading out loud. Driving my wife quite mad but she bares it as best as she can.

I am looking to create a home studio at cost. suggestions would be helpful. I am currently trying to decide weither to have a swing stand or stationary one. I find if I stand up I am less likely to sound monotone. Looking to find some more acting classes in the area as well as online.

I have been told I would be pefect for audiobooks by friends and family but what the hell do they know? I trust in the pros. So here I am. Do with my voice what you will. Also current demo is horrible so pay it no mind.

Hello Jason, and welcome to the forum threads! Stand up or sit down, it's really your choice. We all have different opinions about that...I think it's here on the threads somewhere.
I sit some of the time, and stand at other times. Some jobs have me stand only, and other jobs (studios, I mean) ask If I would like to stand or sit...Good Luck!
Very Happy Very Happy
