At this time I don't need 12 panels of the Auralex Studiofoam 2” Pyramids. I am looking for one sheet in order to finish the PortaBooth that Harlan Hogan designed for recording on the road.
I figured someone might have a panel to sell.
Thank You. _________________ Scott Paxton

If not, check with your local Sam Ash or Guitar Center, they sometimes sell Aurelex one panel at a time...that is how I got mine. _________________ www.karaedwardsvo.com

Hi Kara,
Thanks for the advice, but no luck. The nearest Auralex dealer to me was as helpful as a potted plant. I drove an hour and a half just to have him stare at his feet, then hand me a catalog.
Soooo...the floor is open to anyone who knows where I can get just one panel.
Thanks to all. _________________ Scott Paxton

Scott,
Did you ever get your Auralex? I got a sheet at Guitar Center for $26 plus tax. Worst case scenario, I can get a sheet and send it to you. It was $29 and change with tax...+, what?...$10 to ship?
Let me know and we'll work it out.
I put together one of Hogan's Porta Booth's last weekend and it took a whole 20 minutes...I'm a slow foam cutter. Did you get your Whitmor cube? If not, I ordered from Amazon.com (shipped from Target) for about $10. I didn't have a desktop stand so picked one up at Musician's friend for $6.50+ shipping...still cheaper than the $15 the brick and mortars wanted for the same product.
It does seem to help. Clever idea, I thought.
I did a little article on it in my blog: http://txactor.com

Tommy,
Yes I did finally get the foam. I spent 2 weeks travelling in Montana and took the portable studio with me. It worked great. It packed up so easily with the space saver vacumm bag.
Thanks, _________________ Scott Paxton
