Original Song WITH ALLEN'S INSTRUMENTALS.....work in progres

This is a very rough cut....Still a work in progress. Wondering where exactly to put the bridge and does it need an instrumental break.....

I know it needs engineering, mixing, and pitch correction....not sure whether to keep it doubled through out either.....

anyway I thought I would share it with you guys.

Ciao Deby, congratulations the song's cool. I like the harmonies however I thought the voices were just a little dry and up-front. I think it could do with some reverb and volume automation or more varied mike technique during the higher and louder vocal sections. The bass is pretty "fluffy" and overcompressed and it sounds as if all the instrumentation is being compressed by the sidechain on the vocal which is causing it to pump in and out. A slower attack time on the bass compressor would give it a bit more "thump". If the vocal sidechain was more focused between 2 and 5 Khz this would leave the bass untouched as it aint clashing with your voice. Also, more dynamic variation between the verses and choruses would take the song more where I think you would like it to go.

I think the general structure is fine and concise however I did get a little "squirmish" during the a capella section at the end. Maybe you could tack that on a little closer to the rest and effect it with a nice verb to make it sit better.

Overall, I think the song's taking a good direction and I look forward to hearing how it progresses Wink

Oh Glade that ending part was really only for Allen's ears.....It's actually a bridge that is being incorporated in the middle where the back to back chorus's are now. I also wanted a short instrumental break. Allen has been hard at work on it. I was kinda snotty that day with gunk in my throat. You can hear it on the bridge part. When you hear me inhale.

I'm not snotty today at all.....but I'm swamped with casting work.
