Hi all,
I spent the last few months packing up my tube equipment and selling it on Ebay. I did this because it's a "digital world" and Digidesign Protools and an Mbox could make everything so much easier. (So I thought) I kept my analog tube mic. and preamp but the hours I've spent trying to figure out the new digital system is wearing on me. How about you?

Paul

Fer sher, Paul, there's a learning curve with ProTools. (The rest of 'em, too.)

The key, I think, is in not trying to accomplish too much - too soon.

The start-up book is not so thick that a person can't get through it.

Two things to keep in mind: you can't break it and you can always get back what you may have pooched while trying some things out.

So, go screw it up for awhile! Smile

I sure am glad my digital editing software is intuitive - easy to learn, easy to use, stable and just flat out doesn't have all the problems others complain about with whatever they are using. Yep, sometimes life is good.
