Victor, thanks for starting this week's new thread.
Happy Monday Craig! Like the tonal quality of your voice on this but thought you emphasized certain words that shouldn't have been, like "I", "seconds" and "listen". I'd luxuriate a bit more on the whole thing - but that's just my ears
Maggie

And Happy Monday to you Maggie my dear. I appreciate your thoughts on that read. I've listened to some classic Sterling (big fan) and I think you hit right on my friend. That's the team work I love with this forum.

And more. The narration read is from an old Lovecraft short story, it's just a new narration demo.

Lisa, you have the perfect voice for these types of radio ads! It's like silk. Here are two of mine from today...

Thanks Lisa. Taken out of context, that sounds very odd. LOL.

We've got dueling Serlings! (please insert "Dueling Banjos" here)
Craig:
Nice attempt but I wasn't feeling the Serling of it, ya know the way he cuts off his words, talks almost tight lipped, that certain speech pattern?
Lee:
You were closer on the speech patterns and choppiness of his words but not quite there for me
Brad:
For me you were the closest-- especiallyyour second take. You don't exactly have his voice but you have his style.
Other things...
Brad:
I agree-- More Chris Rock than Eddie Murphy but.... IT ROCKED! Just noticing a bit of stuffiness? Or is that just my crappy speakers?
Lisa:
LOVED the comfort furniture spot! Chez boutique was very good as well but I thought comfort furniture outshined it. Yeah, the interpretation of comfort furniture was impeccable-- nicely done!
Maggie:
You are Oh so perfect for that rejuvenate spot. Such a full rich voice! VERY luxurious! The schoolteacher wasn't as believable for me-- it didn't sound like you were talking to a classroom to me. It sounded like you were talking to adults-- don't know why- maybe to serious a tone? Maybe too sharp a tone on "Okay, class..." sounded like to me that this teacher really didn't like show & tell-- like let's just get this thing over with. I did like your amusement with what Johnny brought it though.
Joe:
Are you the alarm on that one? That's pretty cool. I wanna get me a Joe J Thomas alarm for my house! I think you did what needed to be done with that one-- great work!
Thanks for sharing... I've been poolside most of the afternoon while you guys are hard at work. It's a hard life.... (ha ha!)

This is such a great learning tool for me, and while I am a little envious of the scripts you have on the other side I actually had one today sent to all.
The other spot was asking for a younger 'M' from James Bond..generic.
