i am using an "m-audio mobile pre" and adobe audition 1.5, when i am recording i only hear sound out of 1 side of my headphones "only right or only left depending on the channel i plug the mic into on the pre-amp.

and when i playback in adobe audition "and only in adobe audition" there is static. not a constant static but only static when you can hear my voice.

anyone else have problems like this?
