Have been mostly a multimedia/flash developer, but have been doing more voiceover work for online training videos the last couple of years for my employer.

Am doing mostly technical narratives combined with Camtasia videos to explain and demonstrate how to accomplish tasks using software tools/applications.

Basically, Technical Staff, Customer Support and Marketing write the script. Next, I read/record the narratives, then create the videos using Camtasia. From there, we use Sony Vegas/Adobe AfterEffects to time the videos and narratives, add and time needed graphics/backgrounds/FX, then compile the video and incorporate it into Flash interfaces so they can play online.

Even though this is mostly dry stuff, I've found that voice inflection and timing are essential. Have signed up here to learn more and hone some skills.
