Two jobs in the first two weeks is phenomenal - Congrats!

There are plenty of helpful people here to rely on.

As for payment collection, there are always some losses. You can limit those by having a short signed agreement for the work (anyone? Bueller?)

I've waited as long as 60 days (with a number of follow-up communications) for clients to pay. In my experience, the more clear the terms up-front, the easier the collection.

Sounds like you've got experience with the biz, and you're on the way to picking up the new-tech stuff.
