Steady gig got...now what?

Just scored a gig in real life (you know, not from v123 or TOS). I signed a non-disclosure agreement so I'm not sure how much of it I can discuss here. But I do need some advice...anybody know anything about standard non-disclosure and if I can tell you very generally what kind of company it is so I can then ask a few questions about pricing and how long to license the material and whatnot?

It's steady work every month it looks like, and it could be a great base every month, but I want to make sure I don't get screwed in the original agreement.

I went back and looked at the non-disclosure and it says that it's okay to talk about information that at the time of disclosure is available to the general public, and what they do certainly is, they've already sold their product and have a website to do that with.

ANYway, it's a ringtone company, and I'm being paid by the hour. They're a startup company and want to use me every month to record new ringtones and most importantly names for new people who've bought them (people can have them personalized with their names). Because they're a new company and are giving me steady work, I've agreed to do it for 150 for the first hour of every session and 50 an hour after that. I'm going to make sure they know before final agreements that this is a preliminary agreement and I reserve the right to renegotiate later once they're on their feet and making money basically.

Is there anything else I ought to consider here? I've never done a gig that was indefinite like this as far as the amount of time it'll go on. Taking recommendations!

Steady work is always attractive. Hope it works out for you.

I know little or nothing about the ringtone biz except that it's a huge market. Global sales were expected to be 550 million last year which is actually down about 50 million from the previous year. My questions would be:

How many ringtones are you expected to record in an hour? 5 or 5000?

If the deal turns out to be sour for you, can you walk away without being sued? Leave yourself an out.

Would you be restricted in any way from working for other clients, including other ringtone companies?
