I grew up as a Military child, so jumping from one state to another isn't all that uncommon for me. The longest time I've ever lived in once place was only four years and that was in Mississippi because I went to college. The shortest was 7 1/2 months because my father was in training for his new duty station.

And so that's how one goes from Mississippi to Hawaii. Please note, it was a very long plane trip. But it wasn't the longest plane trip I've ever been on. 14 hours on a plane, I do not recommend.
